June is the month when the gardens of Portland start to bloom. Hear Theresa Mattor, landscape architect and garden historian talk about Portland’s gardens and parks including the five parks on the National Register of Historic Places. Landscape architect Peter Monro will discuss the residential garden designs of John Calvin Stevens. After the presentations, join us for a box lunch on the lawn of the Charles Q. Clapp House.
